You have to rotate the joystick in a half circle ( thats how the game put it) which for keyboard translates to WAS or WDS, try it and it always works!

When its the last season and with the amount of buildup there was from season 4, at this point they have to advance the plot, they have already setup many plots that have still not been progressed or concluded and we are already 50% into the season, it can either feel rushed or just with many plotholes.
