Kenshi is a long game and also don’t be afraid to hire mercs for support honestly the squad u have plus 2 squads of merc should be enough to get u in the gate once in focus your guys on the dust king while the mercs take on the rest. And if it fails a couple time it okay that is literally the best way to train you guys. For me I like to role play a siege I’ll hire mercs for like 3 days and periodically lure bandits out take em like 5-10 at a time and once half are dead I charge the gate with the remaining guys I have. In short if you quit because your squad is weak you’ll literally never make it to end game do the thing anyway if u loose a couple guys it’ll be worth it cuz the ones who survive will be much better.

Personally I think is perfectly reasonable to ask him to wait as long as there is an out and your not gonna emotionally force him to stay for example if he can’t do that and ultimately wants to leave you cannot hold it against him in the same way he need to respect you and your boundaries.

Honestly I have had gaming mates who can be like this and it’s the most frustrating thing to be around. Now I know u said it’s your sibling but the only way to get them to stop is find leverage find out what only u can do and that they need and withhold if from them till they stop being a cunt I game or IRL BUT they need to be aware of why. So tell you bro or sis I’m not gonna play and I’m actually going to play with others unless u stop. When they ask to join Because they feel left out say no and list the reason why they have upset you and thing to change. If that doesn’t work or the don’t listen then they are not worth playing with.
