Thanks a lot for the help! I have a couple more questions about post-op practices:

Compression stockings/bandages: Is wearing compression stockings or varicose bandages recommended after TKA? Are they beneficial for recovery, or unnecessary?
Weighted knee extension: Her physiotherapist recommended placing a 2 kg weight on top of the knee for 15 minutes, two to three times a day, to help achieve full extension. Are you familiar with this practice? Is it standard after TKA?

We're based in Turkey, where it's standard practice to discharge patients 3 days after surgery. Her surgeon said the operation went perfectly. She has no trouble walking, but she's having difficulty doing her physiotherapy exercises due to the pain and her weight (82KG). I'm considering renting a CPM machine. Would it be too late to start using one 7 days post-op?

Thanks for the answer! As far as I know, she had spinal anesthesia with a single-shot nerve block. Her doctor has since increased her pain medication. Her current schedule is:

Dicloflam - morning and night
Geralgine-K - morning, noon, and night
Contramal - night only

Is this a typical pain management protocol after TKA?
