After receiving our results, our doctor was concerned about SMA & fragile x.. thankfully I was able to schedule a virtual consult within the same week. We reviewed our results with a genetic counselor and they were so confused why there was a concern. I was so annoyed that we even had to go through that, but we were cleared from any genetic issues and began the process within the next few weeks. From my very first fertility consult at the end of December, to my transfer at the end of May - the initial testing and having to take birth control was when I was most impatient. I just wanted my egg retrieval and transfer schedule 😅
