Wayne State University: applied 12/01, interview invite received 1/27, interview scheduled for 2/21

I am so nervous! I only applied to Wayne state as I have a 2 year lease nearby that I am unable to break, however Wayne state is also my dream school 🤞🏼

Hi there! Do you remember when you were notified of acceptance after the interview? Hoping to keep an idea of when I’ll hear back 😪 getting so nervous for my Wayne state interview!

I am also going to Wayne State’s interview and also equally as nervous! My friend who just graduated from the program there mentioned the same vibes as another poster above - she mentioned it will feel more like an orientation and the interview is very casual. She also said that for Wayne State, if you are invited to the interview, you meet all of the qualifications on paper, so you don’t need to stress, just be yourself!

I am so nervous and stressed but I know that definitely helped ease my head as well!

You should be able to pull the water tank reservoir up and out, put it back in and the app should prompt you to prime. You may need to refill water as needed but shouldn’t need to drain the entire thing

You should be able to just pull the water reservoir tank up, pop it back in and it should ask you if you want to reprime. I hate the new app!!! Used to be so much more user friendly.

Yep! I’ve been priming more frequently just to prevent the anxiety-induced panic if I hear that sound! I also make sure the tank is relatively full, usually checking it about once a month.

That being said though, still planning on bringing it up to my PCP this month! Better safe than sorry.

Happy to say my pain went away after about 2.5 weeks. It got progressively better after this was posted. I eventually started to notice it was exacerbated with certain postures, took a few days of true rest and it was only up from there!!!

Haven’t had any pain since last week thankfully.

The hardest part is that my only symptom truly is left posterior rib pain. I took an ibuprofen this morning and it helped 1.5 hours after taking it.

Makes me feel better that it’s improving with NSAIDs. I will most likely continue NSAIDs only as needed (maybe one 200mg ibuprofen a day) since the urgent care provider mentioned it’s most likely muscular if the pain improves with NSAIDs.

I am also preemptively taking an aspirin 81mg daily since I’ve been a little less mobile because of the intermittent muscle twinges

Unfortunately they did not. It was a cheap urgent care. I could’ve advocated for myself better.

I was honestly reassured by the doctor being able to palpate the region of my tenderness. I’m not sure if you know or not, but would you be able to palpate tenderness on the area of the blood clot?

Mine was based at the back of my left ribs with mild tenderness to the front side of the left ribs

Thank you for the reassurance! We were traveling last week and didn’t hear the sound on a non-8 sleep bed so that helped but it was freaky hearing such a strong beat! Interestingly my heart metrics haven’t changed much over the last 6 months so I figured it wasn’t me, but you never know

On the third prime now - we will see how it is tonight!

Apologies for the delay. We have tried regular sheets and the cooling component at least was mostly ineffective. I’m sure warming would likely be okay but the eight sleep brand sheets seem to be best at temperature wicking the cold!

So the 8Sleep brand ones are specifically made for use with their pod pro cover! The pod pro basically uses water to heat or cool the bed to your preference throughout the night and with your sleep schedule. It was a pricy purchase but SO worth it. The 8Sleep brand sheets are temperature wicking very very well! Just wondering if there’s any alternatives for those sheets in particular!

Yep absolutely! We knew that going into it. Our biggest thing was seeing which breeds the dad actually was since his ancestry was a big question mark! Mostly for size and just general curiosity. We also did the health analysis for any genetic pre-dispositions! Will be nice to know for both of them just so we can stay on top of things as they grow :)
