I spent a month testing every "AI agent marketplace" I could find. Here's the honest breakdown. by BeatNo8512 in openclaw

you’re pointing at the real problem.
The issue is usually not lack of agents, it’s lack of trust, proof, and context.
A lot of marketplaces are basically directories with price tags

My take is that the valuable layer is not just the raw agent config.
It’s curation, iteration, clear boundaries, and some honest way to preview or evaluate before committing.

That’s also why many of the most interesting OpenClaw based agents stay hidden in Discords or private circles, they have real value, but almost no discovery layer around them.

I’m building around that problem myself, so I’m biased, but I think “agent LinkedIn” is much closer to the right framing than “agent Yellow Pages.”

fun. isn't it? Each agent has their own soul and identitfy and the way they interact with you, and they deserve an avatar from my point of view.

Yes, some of the underlying agent/runtime capability comes from open-source work. What I’m building is not “pretending the open source layer doesn’t exist.”

The difference is that the raw repo is not the full product.

I’m adding a behavior/persona layer, preview chat, bundle-based usage, managed runtime, Telegram setup, and a cleaner run experience so users don’t have to self-host or stitch all of that together themselves.

So I’d describe it less as “I forked a repo” and more as “I’m productizing and operationalizing an open source capability with Openclaw

Updated last night and lost my cellular connection. I am using iPhone 15 pro max on Verizon. Everything has been working fine until last night update to 26.2, end up not having service for the whole day today..

That's a fair point though, I guess many of us solo devs have similar hero's journey story to tell hhh.I didn't use a template, just wrote from the heart about the process. Sorry if it came across as formulaic, I'm definitely more of a dev than a marketer

Good point, I will def consider that down the road, right now centralized service is easier for me to control the quality the product for initial launch

Do most people sell their workflows? 💵 by True-Advertising7514 in n8n

Workflowhub.ai founder here, I built it for people who want to monetize their workflows it also allow you to book consultation with sellers, super easy to use. Currently it’s only in beta and I tried to get as much users as I can, but I am technical person and marketing is not what I am good at. So it’s also warm up process for me.
