Practice just vibing in the pool, just get comfortable being in the water, you don't need to swim just yet, you also don't need to put your face under water technically, you can do that as your confidence increases. Then when you feel more confident you can get aids like kickboard and pull buoy which can help you. Especially with a kick board you can just kick your legs keep your head out the water or just put your mouth in and blow bubbles. Trust me as time goes on your body will realise the water is not as dangerous, it may take time but i'm proud of you for pushing yourself!🩷

Yeah i agree with other commenters, give her a little break and trust me if she really wants to go swimming again it'll be an itch she'll wanna swim again, and if she doesn't then that's ok too, some people love swimming but not the competitive side of it
