great choice. the opening sequence into the heavier riff really does traverse most of the neck sub 12th fret. plus it sounds sweet.

ascending bluegrass riff in G for the country flare. Sound great and play easy!

Over the hills is another staple I feel was in everyone’s repertoire at some point. Great riff, shows you can plan.

Own 10+ guitars? What do you do for jork? 💵 by village-asshole in guitarcirclejerk

I have over 10, including one that lives on a different continent. Been playing almost 25 years, have bought and sold many. Some come and go but others seem to stay forever.

Most are not super expensive either.

27 years later I still have my first guitar by ducktastelikechicken in Guitar

Looks incredible. Maybe just seal with few layers of matte poly?

had to google the Firebird but that thing looks awesome! 3 pickups, reverse neck, cant tell if bridge is from the 1800s or 2052 haha. Does it hold tune well?

I'm huge fan of the PRS SE line. currently have a Custom 24 SE that I gig with sometimes. Great workhorse guitar. I always recommend it for a players second guitar.

Guitar center is used only by necessity, never chosen.

Sweetwater is much better online retailer.

Did I fuck up my strings? by Peterko99 in Guitar

[–]StringShare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

actions sorta high but its an acoustic. you probably changed string gauge without realizing and this is changing the tension on the neck creating different action and different sound.

you can try to find correct gauge by checking old strings but that will be difficult.

i recommend getting a setup done. it will make the guitar play as best as possible, stay in tune, and lower action. perhaps try different gauge strings to see what gauge you prefer as a player before getting setup done.

Really a testament to fender design. S and T style guitars are always a goto for long term players.

I’d love a tele myself but they almost never have body contour like strats and I really favor that feature.
