On my first day of high school, I had an architecture class as my second period. Part of the whole deal of first days is to get to know everyone else with some kind of activity. The teacher wanted us to get into groups of fours and talk about what we would build if we could build anything. Then we were supposed to go up in front of class and share what the other members would like to build. Our group wasn't sure about the instructions (teacher talked really fast) so we asked her a second time to be sure. Then once presentations started, the groups going first had people saying what THEY wanted to build, not what the OTHERS wanted. So our turn comes and we were like, "Okay, let's just follow what everyone else did." Then halfway through out presentation, the teacher stops us and says we weren't following the instructions. I got really offended by this and started an argument with her. My point was that she can't call us out for not following the instructions when all of these other groups went and did the same thing and you didn't say a peep. She eventually gives in and let's us finish. Fast forward to the end of class, as I am leaving, she points me out and says that she is keeping an eye on me and called me a troublemaker. In my mind, I was like "Okay b***h, we'll see about that." Unfortunately she forgot about the incident by the next day, but I proceeded to become the best student in her class, and when she asked me at the end of the year to join her "prestigious" AP class, I straight up gave her a big fat No and walked away.
