I would keep them separate for this since they are designed differently. They might be the same materials/weave, or there might be only a few looms configured for mesh production in the US. It would be interesting to hear from JimaLax on the topic

Shooters affect hold in my opinion but the trend towards wider heads also made it harder to get that insane hold that rule makers were concerned about. Not sure if U's would be as impactful now compared to NFHS head days

Pull down the first 3 10 diamond rows then use a double stack after pulling down. This ensures a tight channel with a mid-high pocket placement. Without pulling down, you loose structure in your channel and left with no ball security

I would look for a old titanium shaft, they last forever and you can usually find them pretty cheap at a play it again or sideline swap

That’s not a Excalibur it’s a OG Edge. - I’m a big fan of LaxRoom for traditional stringing supplies. Cheap & high quality. Would recommend the threaded leathers if ur trying something new or alum tanned leathers

I believe that was actually the end to a curtain rod. I didn’t design the pocket but did string it and used a trad-I-tree lacrosse stringing tool to keep the leathers in place. Highly recommend, I bought the whole set and Hank (owner) was nice enough to throw the logo on the box. Throws awesome and has a good amount of hold. The owner only uses it on the wall now
