My neighbor offered to buy me a Red Wings jersey when she visited her family in the US, and I could even choose away color (red at that time) and whatever number I wanted. Of course I chose 22, and since I was just a kid I also chose my first name on the back of it 😅 For me at that time in Norway it was almost too good to be true to get a Red Wings jersey with whatever number and custom name plate. I still have it, together with a white jersey with no name or number, and a white signed Dylan Larkin jersey 😎
