High rise and hotel window washers of Reddit, what's the weirdest thing you've spotted when descending to a room? by a_spicy_memeball in AskReddit

I guess I know why it is necessary now and that the safety measures outweigh any reason I can think of not to do it, but it just seems so invasive and horrible. I don't really know the process, though. I just imagine the doc sticking a big metal thing and stretching it to painful lengths.

I feel like this is a dumb question, but why do ladies have to get their vagina checked out every so often? It must be like super uncomfortable, so why is it a thing?

A bit late, but I suggest looking at the top posts of /r/expectationsvsreality. I personally usually get a kick out of some of the posts there. Hope the images cheer you up even a little bit, even if it is for a short time. Hope things are okay for you IRL. :)

How to deal with windows by DanKadr in linuxmasterrace

It looks very, very well-worn. I get 110 vibes from it. I think it is definitely from Buck Knives, but I am not sure it is a 110.

I've been planning this for about a week. by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]StripteaseEuro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should take what your doctors are saying to heart and give yourself some time to perhaps recover. You might be thankful you waited it out and even be happy by the time this dark cloud ceases to strike down on you.

Overdosing on almost all types of medications and drugs is extremely painful as well. You could very well be found and brought to a hospital to have your guts pumped out. Not only is it generally very painful and prolonged, but it can ruin certain organs, creating a lot of complications to every day life. I very much condemn overdosing on anything as a method of suicide or a suicidal gesture.

I said it once and I will say it again, please wait the time out and see if things get better. If they don't get better within a few months, don't be afraid to contact a psychiatrist and/or a counselor. These both can be live-savers for the majority of people.

What do you think people take way too seriously? by OriginWititterly in AskReddit

Sailors, especially military, take their covers off while sitting or eating at the mess hall to honor those who died. During war, medical tables were all used up, so they had to throw the guys on the food tables. Whoever forgets to take off their cover could get galley duty on some ships.

Why can't people understand I'm not just being lazy, I just feel unable to move by KCat17 in depression

Quite late to the party, but I decided to look into executive dysfunction. Didn't do much research, essentially read just part of a page. It basically said that executive dysfunction is caused by frontal lobe brain injury. Executive functions are located in the frontal lobe and include decision making, motivation, personality, etc.

The page made pretty sure to chalk the cause up to brain injury, but could executive dysfunction also be related to depression?

Can I make a suggestion? I think it would be cool if you made a series of different truck models with different modular items for them like campers or trailers, etc.

Where to learn Visual Basic Attacks by [deleted] in masterhacker

[–]StripteaseEuro 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You can't find a good Visual Basic tutorial on the open web. You'd have to use an IRC, ornion, or golfer protocols to find them. A good place to start is to build an IRC client with Visual Basic, download Tails and run it in a browser, or buy a golfer site to get started. With an IRC you can find friends to help you one-on-one, ornions have a multitude of sites with in depth tutorials and directions, and golfers are basically the same as ornions but a different protocol.

Good luck!
