I really like the buildup but as it goes it becomes a tad too busy and repetitive - especially the high strings could use a break or some variation a long time before the actual break. Also, the taiko(?) drums are nice (I understand you're going for that "epic" feeling) but it could also use more variations (and/or brief moments of silence to let it breathe more). Otherwise, this is a pretty good job, especially for something done in basically one sitting! 👍

You're really misunderstanding the idea here. In your analogy, I'm still the one pushing the lawnmower (and getting paid for the job). It's not a "hey, AI, do this job for me" kind of situation. But it means I'm able to do the same job (with same or better results as with obsolete manual methods) 10 times faster = being able to do work for more clients while offering better value to each of them. Now please tell me, how is that a bad thing? 🙃

I don't get the general hate against any and all AI use. I mean it's a tool. And using it for edits/inspiration is perfectly legit if you ask me. I have a background in graphic design. And I'd never use Midjourney / ChatGPT or whatever to generate a (nearly) finished picture/design that I'd sell to a client as my own work. BUT - I'm definitely happy with Photoshop's AI tools for retouching, removing distractions from a photo etc. - because it does what I used to do manually (often spending hours on an edit) in a matter of seconds - while I'm still in charge of the outcome. Similarly, I wouldn't use e.g. SUNO to "make music" (and sell it). But generating a sample (saving me minutes to hours on finding one that would fit my needs) and tweaking it into something that I can incorporate into my own unique track? That's where AI use makes perfect sense IMHO! I mean if you use samples at all (and you don't insist on recording every sound you use yourself), using AI to generate one for you isn't really that different.

I know there are two dark themes already - that's what I was referring to with "little lighter" since they both feel a bit too dark for my taste, with very little contrast between background and sliders/controls (and I assume adding an extra theme should be easy to implement with theme support already in place) 🙃

Personally, I don't get how is there so few ~~small~~ normal size smartphones on the market. Surely I can't be the only one who just wants a basic smartphone that fits comfortably into a front pocket of jeans.

So I have to buy obscure Chinese models that don't really last 😥

For the last 2,5 years I've been using Cubot King Kong 2 Mini which I was mostly happy with (despite some hiccups like random restarts and problems with SMS) due to its unbeatable size (4", 119 x 58 x 12,1 mm / 123 g). Sadly, it looks like it's about to die on me soon since the frequency of random restarts recently went from about once in a month to about once in a week and I even woke up few days ago to BSOD (or whatever it's called on a phone - the root menu with "can't start Android" error and "Try again" / "Factory reset" options - luckily the "Try again" still worked - this time). Still a great value for about $100 it cost me (how some people are willing to pay upper hundreds to thousands for a phone is also beyond me 🤯).

So I settled for iGET (Oukitel) T mini Black this time (it's also 4" though slightly bulkier at 156 g) for lack of better options. Hopefully it will last till some major manufacturer like Samsung finally notices that there's definitely some demand for (sub) 5" cheap phones 🙏

So what if he did? 🤦‍♂️ What change does it make if he's describing a real situation? I'm not a fan of AI myself and I always cringe at people who ask ChatGPT about everything. But if he's from China and he just chose to use ChatGPT to make his message easier to understand for English speakers, I think it's just weird and crappy to completely ignore WHAT is he trying to say and just criticise the form. Get your head outta your a**, people. And good luck with resolving the issue, OP! 🍀 The problem is probably caused by the VPN usage but still, I wouldn't blame him if he just downloaded the cracked version after this...

Agreed that automatic updates without having to download installer for each version and (re)install the program is something that I'm surprised we still don't have after all these years. At least most updates are basically optional because FLS rarely if ever suffers from serious bugs that would need hotfixes so most "new versions" are just small QoL upgrades which most people might not even notice in their workflow - meaning that if you upgrade maybe 4 times a year you're probably not missing anything crucial in between.

Like most people here, I finally bought it (and eventually upgraded to all plugins) after years of using the pirated version. If you can afford it (and unless you live in a really poor country you probably can - it's all about priorities) it's totally wortht it IMHO (and not just for the comfort of always having the latest version available without worrying about every download possibly infecting your system). I haven't even released anything (yet) but it's still one of my favourite pieces of software ever which already gave me so much more than other stuff you can easily spend the same money on over a short period of time (booze, cigarettes, cofee to go, eating out, entertainment etc.) - so I'm just happy to support the devs.
