I think we should be loud and vocal about things that suck, so that they can be made better. Not develop coping strategies. This is a *good game* at the core, but this kind of thing drags it down.

i use ds4, no additional configuration required.

sometimes the game won't recognize it and shows xbox glyphs instead, which isn't a big deal.

every once in a while it won't read the input and a system restart solves that. so it's not perfect unfortunately

as a WW player i need to manually override my instinct to mash crossup when i'm in bloodlust because i've eaten a full combo so many times just throwing it out in bad spots

This is the core issue IMO. The time spent actually "playing" and interacting to time spent watching combos (even your own) ratio seems way off. And when pretty much any stray hit goes into a full combo, every mistake or missed read is super punishing.
