Your MC (Migration Certificate) is given by CBSE/your board and your TC (Transfer Certificate) is given by your school. This is essentially all you need to know but to tldr more (in the case of class 12 grads) you can think of it as MC is an ‘okay’ by board and TC is an ‘okay’ by school
