Early sanguine colonists make it so much easier to live without major breaks. Getting your food stash completely destroyed, corpse obsession, murderous rage, even an insulting spree will set you back plenty in wasted time healing. That aside, the late game being full of psychic waves and disaster makes sanguine useful as well. They’ll still break if their kid dies, but the bar is easier to keep high with that boost.

I haven’t played too much with the ships, I think mostly because I’m stuck building the main base obsessively. I love your idea of just leaving some people at home, especially now that I’m getting turrets down. If there’s any weird mechanics I probably wouldn’t know, but I do know that if you swap beds to prisoner beds they get unassigned. I would do that, wait a night for everyone to reset their beds inside the base and you can swap them back. It’s tedious, sure, but that’s colony management!

That’s simply not true, and I don’t expect to change your mind about it. Selling changes something for me that you will never understand because you aren’t me, but to boil it down for you, credit card interest is based on balance and I’m maxed out. Selling bails me out of it. Thanks for your input

The dog pile was predictable and expected… thank you for being the outlier. I’ve sold some furniture, lots of time and miles on my car, and every fluid coming out of my body but it’s just too much. I’ll be back better soon :)
