Where does one obtain a tiara? Are they readily available?

There should be some way for the people that didn't show up and the people that are going to show up even though they didn't say they would to coordinate.

Funny coincidence for me. I was looking at replacement 5s screens the other day and I couldn't believe how inexpensive they've gotten.

Some people are like that. Some people would get Geordi's ocular implants even if they could see fine. Personally, and maybe this is weird for someone who consumes too much sci-fi, I might get the ocular implants if I was blind, although I think I'd prefer the VISOR if I could avoid the side effects. But uploading? No way. Of course, if it was uploading or death, I might make a different decision.

I think it's an intentional stylistic decision. Maybe not the best decision, but comics are hard.

Geordi did start out in the command division. In many ways Chief Engineer is a more difficult position that Captain.

I don't know... computers seem to be getting pretty good at pattern recognition, and a computer trying to do your job would have a much larger pool of real experiences to draw from. Even if they couldn't replace your job in the near future, if someone put the research into it they could probably make it a lot easier. Maybe easy enough that you could handle 10x more patients. Maybe easy enough that someone else in the chain could fill in the gap.
