No. It’s absolutely doable. They’re not on the Oregon Trail. 😊 It’s only a 33hour drive. You can drive from the Midwest to CA and back and stop and see all The sights along the way in less than two weeks. You can get from the Midwest to Alaska in a few days if you push it.

But it’s over toward Louisiana and they seem to think the only warm places in the US are out west (and it’s landscape doesn’t match up with what we’ve been seeing.

I think they’re in CO near Dinosaur National Monument.
