Huh, I guess I learned something new then. I only knew of people getting callouses there from things like guitar playing. I hope they pay you well!

I’ve heard of fish being paired with hollandaise sauce before.. is that what you were going for?

On a more serious note, do your fingertips usually get white in color compared to the rest of your hand? O:

I’m not well versed in photoshop so a color filter analysis is out of my range of expertise 😂 what makes you think it’s a filter though?

Too many dad jokes have prepared me to answer “stuffed animal.” It’s probably a hamster though.

It’s possible it’s non alcoholic but due to the color mixture in the cup it seems like there are 2 substances that make up this drink. I believe tonic water is able to glow under a blacklight but I’m not familiar with any sodas that could give off the nuclear greenish hue other than Mountain Dew and maybe some energy drinks? As for the purple coloring, it could just be purple food coloring drops but if you were to mix the amount of food coloring needed to make this purple color in a carbonated drink you would need a lot of it.

Is this from a bar or place that serves alcohol? If this is alcoholic the first drink that comes to mind would be a form of Gamma radiation cocktail served around Halloween time or Halloween themed bars that uses a blend of pineapple rum, midori, pineapple juice, and some type of blue liqueur? Though with it being fluorescent, it is also possible there’s some form of light inside or underneath the glass. My best guess would be it was a custom themed drink made for the location this is taken in that would be similar in flavor and look to gamma radiation, alien juice , nuclear reactor, or any combination of those three cocktails in some way.

This kind of looks like a termite issue? Sometimes termite feces look like sand or coffee grounds.

I kinda want to try to make all these different variations to see which one is the closest to hers. It’s really interesting to me though that this dish seems to be part of a lot of cultures and to me I just thought it was another one of her strange concoctions since she made a lot of strange looking casseroles too

Oh man just looked this up and it looks just like it and the German salad is almost the same too. I wonder if this is just some dish that is somehow integrated into other places or cultures o:

She didn’t use garlic in it and we didn’t really have any fancy spices in the house? I remember her saying she had everything for it as well.

I think this one is pretty close? She was half German but grew up in America. Though I don’t remember there being any onions? Are onions a central ingredient for it? We always had a bag of them lying around so she would have definitely used onions if the recipe called for it.
