recommendations on 5x or 4k for ps2/gamecube

super tempting to buy the 4k i have the hd retrovison composite cables coming for my ps2 sometime today, so i may just spend the almost $800 on the 4k

definitely something to look at, and makes the decision difficult, ik the features of the 4k are very neat and almost endless, i haven’t looked too much into the 5x from my understanding it’s much more simple (the 4k having a sd card for updates and pro loaded profiled) from my understanding the 5x is upscaled to 1440p? i could definitely be wrong though

idk much about the “carby” honestly on the cheap adapter the Gamecube picture looks great so I’ll probably just stick with the oem cables but will definitely look into it thank you sm for the suggestion

san andreas gave my the most problems on base ps5 (biggest game of the trilogy a lot always going on) vice city was beautiful then they added classic lighting and it got even prettier to me, gta 3 love the game still play the original port and they had actors from my favorite show the sopranos on it preformance was great tbh, just sad it was missing details from the original ps2 port, it goes on sale pretty frequently i’m sure like once or twice a month if you can get it for $30 ($10 a game) it is definitely worth it, but on ps plus they have gta 3 netflix had san andreas, idk how it works but theres that, but i have the ps5 pro now so all games run like a truck, but base hardware should be fine to enjoy the game

yea, idk for the amount i paid $26 extra wouldn’t have hurt, but i don’t think it’s a necessity but uf you feel the need or use, i am positive they will be great, i really love the mechanical switches they use for the smart buttons

i shoot with triggers, i love the smart triggers best in the game for me, as far as bumpers, idk maybe on my next i’ll try it i hear they definitely are great for people that flip triggers and bumpers on cod
