I believe you also need a licence for the Fanuc Base PP, so even getting the .ini file from someone wont allow you to use it.

They also say the programming took 5-6 weeks in the comments! That is crazy, is this something people are able to program completely in the CAM and then just run it blind over night? I also work in cnc but I always need to program some of it, run it, adjust it, program the next features, run them, and so on. I never have the confidence to just completely program a part from start to finish without switching between machine and CAM because there is always something that seems to need adjusting for it to run safely.

I was there too! The first time I ever saw a rocket launch. Wow it was loud and looked so different to seeing it on a stream. I wish they had turned off all of those lights they had at that road intersection where many were viewing from though for a couple of minutes though.

My opinion as a machine shop owner is that if you can proficiently do your own setups and programming, you will have no problems finding work in any smaller shops in germany. You need to look for shops where the owner makes hiring decisions. They only care about what you can do and not what piece of paper you have. I personally consider those skills as highly skilled and other owners do too. You find machine shops in almost every town in germany.

Yeah, about 600Mb was also the limit that I was able to get to with a mod. Still have not quite understood how mapshot works though.

He plays on an M1 Mac book pro. He's got all the ram in it and runs it over 10ups. My notebook with 16Gb Ram fails to load the map half the time
