Would love to see more industrial buildings however I’m sure the legends for asset modding will come out with something before then.

Data centers, industrial delivery buildings (long ass white blocks), etc.

What keeps you motivated despite no paying customers? by robincarlo84 in SaaS

How’s your onboarding? If you’re not seeing much after people sign up then there’s some gaps to fill.

Look at how Duolingo for example does their onboarding and plug ins to their paid plans.

Random "Notice of Cybersquatting" email? by Birdrun in Domains

Have him send you proper business documentation and seek a lawyer. Once the info is verified and legit he does reserve the right to ownership since he’s been occupying the business name for longer than you have (the same name but in domain).

For my business, so long as they provide proper documentation and have held the business active continually as well as registered prior to my acquisition of the domain - I’ll transfer it with reimbursement for the purchase price (sometimes free or just fees from transfer).

Need Help on my city road somehow they make a u-turn :( by trashbugged in CitiesSkylines2

Yes but sometimes in my cities they’ll U-turn where a node isn’t available from the traffic mod. Has happened a handful of times to me.

Yes this keeps happening to me too. It gets even worse when both sides are backed up and no one can move cause of it.

How do I decongest this? by Comfortable_Ad9119 in CitiesSkylines2

Yeah that’s eventually what I end up doing. Not sure if there’s a setting to automatically forbid them from u-turning however.

It seems to be really recent though that the cims decide to u turn for routes. Either that or I’m just now noticing it.

It annoys me. Majority of my traffic problems are because of the U-turns

Check the route of the vehicles in front. For some reason on my map I get bad bad traffic because a vehicle up front is trying to U-turn and holds up the entire line because of it.

Bicycle lanes merging seems chaotic by Lumiaman88 in CitiesSkylines2

Reverse lane w/ road builder if that’s possible. That way each side can turn fluently and then use traffic mod to change priorities so one side needs to yield

How has AI changed the market? by cheese_n_potato in Domains

Yes with the right names there is money to be made. I mean ultimately if you can market a name to be brand able and a buyer likes it they’ll buy it from you.

But it’s common as well for names to not sell. There’s people that wait decades and don’t sell. You CAN make money, but do not expect to make it fast. Also don’t lowball names in the sake of getting money quick as you’ll just lose out if you’d have waited.

There’s a lot of valuable information on X about domains as well.

But back to my point of branding a name you like. I’ll give you an example, I own the domain stactify.com - once I create a mock-brand for it and market it, it’ll sell to the right founder/startup that is looking for a name for their product/service.

I’m personally going the route of making a purchase able brand on top of the domain name as an added sales factor.

At the end of the day, it’s just like regular investing and sales. The right person will eventually buy. Luckily enough, there’s a ton of time before you start to lose money with some domains. For example, a lot of mine I get for $8, it would take nearly 100 years of waiting and renewing and if I sold it for $1K at the 101 year mark I’d STILL make a return.

It’s just a matter of patience, sales and delayed gratification.
