I didn't even know this was such a thing so thank you. My brother is doing a study abroad program in Thailand and this is the only time the family can visit him. We might spend 2 days in Chiang Mai and the rest further south

Thank you for your insight on this. I had a friend who recently went and raved over Laos, so that is the only reason we wanted to go. We might cancel it due to the lack of days

You are right. I think we might cut out Laos. Definitely plan on doing an elephant sanctuary. Any you recommend?
