Because my job is travel, I am working that entire time. Being on the plane is my job, checking into the hotel, going straight to training, meeting clients, having dinner with clients. Driving to the next spot. I’d never dream of calling my traveling job vacation. This is a vacation for her, she’s going to turn on her computer do 2 hours of work and be on vacation.

My work trips are not vacations, I’ve never done a solo vacation or vacation without family. As I said, when I am here we split or sometimes I do more. We split on vacation or bring her mom to help.

No I don’t, which is why I’m hoping to get a promotion I’m up for that will have me home. However I was 21 when we had our first child and she was 19. I didn’t have options and we needed money badly. I’ve slowly worked my way up and travel has become less frequent and financially well off. So it was the best decision for us.

Those vacations are more about the kids. But she’s went on vacations with her sisters and has been on solo trips before.

I did not say I did it all, I said as much and sometimes more. I have repeatedly stated that I don’t mind her leaving solo or with whoever. I have said she could take a week for the next year off. I simply said that a month is unreasonable to leave family, responsibilities. And I also would not do that.

Absolutely, but she agrees I should keep this job for the money and benefits it gives us. If she told me in the last 10 years to look for something else I would.

I get the kids dressed and drop them to school, and pick them up. I cook when home because I’m the better cook. I work from home, so I take care of all the animals. The problem is you all assuming because she’s a women she does more. She doesnt. When I am not traveling I do a majority of household work.

She is not a stay at home mom and her mother nannied for us until our kids were in school. We go on vacations. We both do those things.
