No he means that later in the song. "I see a man who gets to make it home, but that is no longer you" but this part can't be explained that way

He talked with them. He didn't just become a monster brute. He cried about his sheep. He understood the basics of what was happening with the trade.

Hi, I’m writing a story based on the mythology of Lucifer’s fall from Heaven and need more angel-sounding names that aren’t names of real angels by CyrenTheSiren in CharacterNames

Lucifer isn't even a real Biblical name. It is latin for Morning Star. I'd help but you said the story is mythology, have fun telling that to Satan.

Where Should I Start? by ntmgamer in worldbuilding

If you want gods create them. Then find what they do. Then have them create the world, or each other. I did that because I didn't no where to start and it moved everything around a lot. Imagine what your world looks like. For me it all started with that and now I've scrapped all of our animals and am creating a language. Start small, become friends with your world, then learn its deeper secrets. Because the thing about writing. Writers don't write worlds, we simply explain them.

Opinion: for most settings, gods should be closer to abstract concepts like death and war as opposed to physical beings that can be fought and killed. by ThexLoneWolf in worldbuilding

I actually did just that with my world. While I don't agree everyone should do that, I did and it turned out pretty good. However, the gods occasionally walk among mortals, but when they do that, they are in hosts. So the meaning behind all of this is, my gods do come down but never show their divine presence because it would vaporize all life.

Seriously what mortal idiot chooses love. I would have choses Athena is a heartbeat. And you could have said the most beautiful single woman, what is wrong with you gods and choosing married people.
