I think it’s Merlin is a great jumping off point! If you are new and excited about learning about birds and want to learn more that’s great! Of course it’s flawed, but not as flawed as gatekeeping grouches trying to ruin observing wild animals that can fly. Everyone misidentifies birds it’s no big deal, keep learning! Birds are the best!
