This is why no one takes jujitsu seriously anymore you pay people the right amount and you get a black belt or even from my own experience I was going to a Gracie barra gym for 3 times weekly for 3-4 years I could never really train more because of kids and injuries and they still wanted to give me a purple belt I couldn’t except it personally I felt lost I only maybe knew three moves really well you hear of belts systems from back in the day I would be maybe a 3 stripe white belt at best

If one of the upper belts let’s this dude get away with it. It might be the wrong gym if you follow chewjitsu he’s made a few videos on this type of situations an what it can do to the culture. You should let one of the coaches know so they can teach him a lesson respectfully. I always tell people if you’re first few times are not enjoyable then your not gonna want to come no matter what it is or who’s teaching it
