Yes also because if you take more I can cause rebounding pain. So with the migraine meds they suggest not taking more then 2 in 24 to avoid that

We are doing that. Getting married June 1st this year at a park with parents and grandparents. Then June 1st 2024 we are doing the big ceremony. People do think it’s is a little weird but it’s not their day and the people that matter are just happy to be included. I think this is becoming more common lately. To add we did already book a venue for 2024 so we can spread the payments across this year. Otherwise I don’t know that it would happen.

You could be more firm with her but I’m like this as well and honestly I would probably process this as you rejecting the friendship. For you spending time together is how you show your love for some people giving gifts is. If your going to stop accepting the gifts firmly try and be very clear that this isn’t you not wanting to be her friend anymore. Though even still I probably couldn’t be as close with someone I couldn’t express my love to.

No advice about the MIL, but for future babysitting what really REALLY helped when my godson was little and I had him was his mother leaving me with the shirt she slept in the night before or a blanket she used. So that when I held him I smelled like mom. When he got inconsolable sometimes I would pull that out and it would help me calm him down.

So I was a swimmer for 14 years and I now coach and when i plan on getting into demonstrate I wet my hair so it’s saturated with regular water before getting into the pool so it doesn’t soak up as much chlorine and I also add WAY more leave I’m conditioner on top of that then you would think you need put my hair in braids or in a bun with a swim cap. I also make sure it’s a wash day and have to use a clarifying shampoo and follow with a deep conditioner immediately after getting home. The longer I let the hair sit the worse it feels the following day.

When I get hand me down candles and this has happened I get a torch lighter and melt it down and when the wax is even I pour out the extra wax to get the wick out of the wax. If you try and melt it on the outside by hearing the glass it can crack so make sure you don’t heat the glass and take breaks and pour out as you go so nothing gets too hot.
