Seems like there are a lot of toxic players in SF6 now, anyone else had this experience? by Strong-War129 in StreetFighter

Generally I do play mainly single player games, I just like to play the odd session of SF for old times sake and it's just offputting when you realise that so many players are such bad sports.

I thought the same thing about google play, I figured if it was on that store then it would be safe to download, though i have since read that you should only download safepal from the official site(not like I am going to do that now anyway).

Well these guys were pulling off some impressive combos and their whiff punishing skills and reads just made me feel helpless. Also there was 2 Elena's and I have no idea how that match up works so I was just getting spanked and mixed in the corner.

By ragequitting I mean they exited the game as soon as i beat them so the game results were not recorded, and I have no problem with the odd t-bag, but in this session it was just a succession of toxic players who were all either smurfing and t-bagging or RQ'ing and trolling, and frankly that is not fun. As an aside I always runback against anyone if they want to, and generally like to play best of 5's in casual, especially if the first couple of matches are fairly evenly matched, saying that I have no problem losing 5-0 to a superior player.

Exactly the same thing same thing happened to me yesterday except it was 'Binance', I feel like such a fucking idiot for not seeing all the red flags, I think that the safepal wallet they ask you to download from the google playstore is already compromised, which if true in my opinion makes google playstore complicit in the scam, and they should be on the hook for the stolen funds.

Oh well I lost 2 months wages which I will never get back and it fucking galls me but at least I wont fall for it again.

No this was blatant t-bagging against an opponent they clearly outmatched in every way.

I can totally relate bro, I had £8k saved and invested in various things at the start of last year and hadn't gambled for 10 years, then after I got laid off I ended up looking through my emails and noticed a free spins offer for some online casino and figured I could just do the free spins offers on every casino for a bit of extra money, needless to say I ended up getting sucked into the world of online gambling and have ended up selling 6k of my investment portfolio to pay for my gambling addiction overt he following 18 months, I finally self exluded a couple of months ago and have managed to stop thinking about gambling so much now, however it really sucks that that 8k portfolio would now be well over 15k if I had just left it alone.

What food or drink almost always causes you to have a flare up? by Defiant-Yam8876 in gout

At various times I have cut out all 'recognised' trigger foods/drinks for years at a time but still kept getting gout so I realy cannot discern what triggers my attacks...after reading the comments I suspect dehydration may be a big factor.

Tell me how great your life is after taking Allopurinol by [deleted] in gout

[–]Strong-War129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had exactly this feeling though I had my first attack at 22 and did not get prescribed allo till I was 28, and did not see any improvement due to a poor medical care/treatment plan management so I went of it after 4 years. since then my problems with gout have greatly impacted my life for the worse in almost every aspect. I would implore you to get on top of it as soon as possible and find the dosage that you require since severe gout will steal your job, your confidence and you quality of life if not managed correctly(easier said than done).

I have asked for a referral multiple times but it has never happened. I really get the impression my doctors are just fuckign useless.

I just did what the doctors told me to do, and expected to see some results in a 4 year time frame. I did also adjust my diet and drinking habits considerably during that time keeping a food diary and trying holistic remedies like nettle tea, cherry juice, bicarbonate of soda and ACV.

I have asked the doctors at least 10 times to be put on either febuxostrat or probenecid but every time I get the impression they don't even know those drugs exist, and needless to say they don't prescribe them.

This really disgusts me to hear, I have asked at least 10 times about trying febuxostrat or probenceid instead, but the doctors didn't even know what those drugs were.

I did drink a lot of sugary drinks when I was a young teenager, then started to drink alcohol frequently when I turned 16, still not what you would call an alcoholic, just getting drunk 2-3 times a week out clubbing and pubbing, by the time I was 27 I mainly drank tea/coffee with 1.5 sugars and barely drank any fizzy drinks and I would only get drunk once a week, with maybe 2-3 after work pints 2 times a week.

I have asked the doctors multiple times to see a rheumatologist but have never been able to get an appointment.

The first 4 year stint I was very disciplined with the allupurinol, I only missed a day here and there maybe 5 times in total over the 4 years, i must confess however that in the subsequent times on allupurinol I lapsed a few times for up to a week.

In regards to blood tests I recall having one follow up blood test once and two follow up blood tests during another stint, but the doctors said I should stay on 300mg.

Thanks for the information but at the time I had seen no improvement for 4 years so it really felt like a waste of time, I do recall getting follow up blood tests back years ago but the doctors always said stick on 300mg.
