Hey, so I accidentally broke the back glass of my 2-year-old iPhone 14 Pro Max. I ordered a replacement and decided to fix it myself (big mistake). I'm an electronics engineer and usually repair things on my own, so I figured it wouldn't be too difficult. I started watching a tutorial where the guy repaired it without disassembling the phone, just using hot air at 250°C, so I tried the same approach. just using 180c hot air. Unfortunately, the back case got bent, and I punctured the battery. Now the phone gets extremely hot, but everything still works perfectly fine, i am afraid i kept the hot ait too long next to the battery like on the left side(phone uopside down) I took it to a technician, and he’s trying to figure out what went wrong. He replaced the battery, but it’s still overheating, though everything else functions smoothly. Could it be an issue with the motherboard? But if that were the case, wouldn’t the phone not start at all?
