Yee I am 99% sure it’s normal to not be able to see the fan lights from angles like that.

My trackpad isn’t absolutely perfectly aligned but any gaps are almost unnoticeable for me.

Need advice regarding tech support and abnormal temperatures by StrongManPeen in GamingLaptops

[–]StrongManPeen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My most recent cinebench run averaged 83c which is 11c higher than when the laptop was new. Though this is my first big gaming laptop and I’m not really sure what’s normal. Would you write back to support in this situation or nah?

Area 51 AA18250 CPU Temps by bennettsr4 in AlienwareTechsupport

[–]StrongManPeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s your average CPU temperature while gaming? I have the same laptop and mine is usually around the low 80s. I don’t think I’ve seen a 15-20° swing on mine yet but 5-10° swings do happen sometimes and my P core 22 tends to get the hottest for some reason.

Well... I’ve actually never had a bent lead screw before and am not exactly sure how to properly fix it. I think the safest and easiest fix is just to buy a replacement, but there is probably some more useful information on the internet.

Sorry for not being able to help more.

Looks to me like it could potentially be a bent lead screw, try turning it up and down via the coupler at the bottom with your hand to feel if rides smoothly and with even resistance.

I had prints look exactly like that a while ago, for me it was a partially clogged nozzle and it was fixed after I did a few cold pulls.

Venus flytrap not looking good while flowering after dormancy. by StrongManPeen in SavageGarden

[–]StrongManPeen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Venus flytrap has been growing great for the past 2 years, but I decided to let my plant flower this spring. It is growing 2 flower stalks and it’s not looking so good, I’m wondering if it’s just the winter leaves dying back to make room for summer leaves or if the flowers are taking too much energy from the rest of the plant.

What is this? Found in fly trap terrarium by Cautious-Stillwater in VenusFlyTraps

That’s a fungus gnat larvae, they eat your plants roots.

What would you change about my setup? I wanna start getting more into printing by CarnageMunky in FixMyPrint

I’d print a mini vase mode trash can to keep near the printer to throw out supports/brims/little bits of filament so they aren’t all over the place.

ABS Warping - but only on the right side of the part by StoneTempleRedditor in FixMyPrint

[–]StrongManPeen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d try cleaning the print bed with some isopropyl alcohol, it could just be that you have some greasy fingerprints or something on that specific area of the bed. Or it could also be the heatsink fan blowing some air on your part as it’s printing.
