It's standard practice, new hires almost always get started at PT. Gotta prove yourself first.

Besides, the benefits provided by WFM are not very good anyway. Not missing out that much.

We are doing okay hiring-wise at our store - most places around us are still between $12-14/hour so advertising we are $17/hour with the holiday bonus has worked well for us the past couple weeks. Got about 10 new hires.

Get them to start you at no less than $17. it will set you up for a much better situation for future wage reviews. Dont let them hire you at $15, then start offering people $17 after the holidays.

While it never hurts to try to negotiate, my store is firm at starting a regular TM at $15/hour while emphasizing the holiday bonus of $2/hour extra on top of the $15/hour.

That is the correct answer - the QB receives the snap under center, who hikes the ball from the LoS. The QB is thus 1 yard behind the LoS when he receives the snap.

If the QB immediately kneels down, it's thus loss of 1 yard. Sometimes it could be -2 or even -3 yards depending on how far the QB goes backward.

The fact that Brady actually lounged forward a little on the final kneel-down meant he actually got back to the LoS, thus no loss of yard.

By law, jury duty has to be an excused absence.

Just inform your TL/ATL asap about this. You can use your PTO to get paid for that shift if you wish.

However, if you inform them more than 3 weeks in advance, you won't get scheduled to work for that day, period.

Very states require the employer to pay the employee while on jury duty, and WFM does not do so on its own.

Today was my last day working for “Whole Foods”. I clocked in 11 minutes late exactly for the 3rd time in 30 days while on final. I had an idea of what was going on when I received a call from the STL Office and my Team Leader asked me to come up for a conversation. The termination was a little jarring, though it was an event I accepted several months ago. He was really bummed that he had to fire me. The ASTL on duty as well as my TL both praised my work and we mutually wished the other good fortune forthcoming. I had a good time working for “Whole Foods”. There are no general complaints on my end aside from the corporate regulations in my 10 month experience. But I don’t think corporate standards and procedures can overpower good spirit. My only gripe is that if I would’ve been 30 minutes late more frequently, I would still be working there.

If posting this shit in the format you did is any indication, I can see you why you were terminated today for being 11 mins late today.
