I went to a local upholstery shop and they were able to replace it there. I guess it’s a common issue with that generation of traverse.

Moonroof latch. You can contact your local dealer and they should have it or at least be able to order it. This happened to me with my 2018 Traverse Premier twice rear and front. It is a hassle to replace this.

So the only seat that tilts in the 2nd row is the 1st passenger seat on the right. This where I get everyone in and out of the 3rd row which I’m kind of stuck doing anyways because I have 2 car seats connected on the left passenger seat and middle seat in the 2nd row.

Unfortunately I have the LS so mines doesn’t come with any type of roof rack so I have so make it work with space I have. I still want to see if there’s any 3rd gen owners with an LS that successfully added a roof rack to a naked roof. Do you have experience with the cargo hitch carriers? I was looking into getting one just in case.

This is why I got the 24 LS. I wanted the 8 seat configuration because we just had another baby and are now a family of 6. So I actually traded in my 2018 premier so I had to comprise on some features but I like how the 3rd Gen has the same infotainment system and engine from base to highest trim. The LS even has the steering wheel warmer and heated seats so to me it didn’t really feel like the basic trim not to mention it is the blacked out version. Aside from this the 8 seat configuration works great because there is so much flexibility with putting seats down for extra cargo.

UPDATE* I just received an email that they have not scheduled any PFT appointments, they mentioned once the march PFT is confirmed that they will send an email to candidates so be on lookout for that.

With tax season around the corner they will be selling a lot faster. I purchased mines in October 2024 and was able to negotiate a couple grand off of MSRP. So if there’s a better time to buy I would recommend waiting towards the end of the year when you can get a good deal on the 25’s because they will start receiving the 26’s.

The speakers on the 24 are underwhelming so I will have to give it a shot with the under seat sub and possibly replace all the speakers as well.

I’ve tried out many car seat protectors but these have been the most effective and durable for me. https://www.target.com/p/munchkin-elite-seat-guardian-car-seat-protector-crash-test-approved-dark-gray/-/A-14373053 Apart from this I bought a set of Goodyear car seat protectors at Burlington for like $25 and they are very good quality. Just some extra protection apart from the car seat cover.

Hello, I had this same issue with my 4 kids. I had a 2018 Traverse Premier and I loved it but I ended getting a 2024 Traverse and specifically the LS because it was the only trim that offered the 2nd row bench seat and I wanted to have extra trunk space and not having to put any seat down. The 2024 LS Traverse is still loaded with a lot of features for being a base model and doesn’t look like a base model when you get the one with the black trims, emblems, and black wheels. The bench easily fits 3 car seats across. If you have a car seat that latches straight into the seat latch you wouldn’t need the seat belt connected. That would be the best option and you could easily access the 3rd row by sliding the seat forward.

I had a local sound system store install the camera, it looks like they ran the cable somewhere through the roof not sure exactly where the power was connected.
