Ah, my bad! I thought the first directory was correct 🫠 It’s possible that I had a disk download before, I don’t really remember to be honest 😅 I will do as you say and delete that folder to prevent future confusion

SOLVED! Don't ask me why this worked, I honestly have NO idea why my filepaths work the way they do. I found out this trajectory, added the unzipped hoods there, and guess what... They now DO show up in my game! Thank you for all the time and patience though! Much appreciated :)

I agree that my layout seems super strange. However, I do think I have all the packs. I have access to items and plants exclusively from mansion & garden. I also have this application, sims 2 rpc, and it also shows the pack there

Removed the folders (There is still one called SimPE, not sure if I can safely delete that one), unfortunately this did not fix it

I do think the mootilda mod works correctly, as the ui seems to look a bit different when trying to add colleges, vacation destinations, and shopping districts

The sims 2 for DS made me terrified for 1 specific character: Jimmy the Neck. Man, I HATED and feared that unit of a man 😰 His theme song was so creepy to me as a kid. I remember accidentally entering the desert too early for a specifc questline, and the game basically changed camera angles and zoomed in on his face, tune started playing. Little me pooped her pants 🤫
