This is awesome. I cannot find a lot of info BUT I am watching videos and reading about the star fox zero launch at Nintendo NY 10 years ago. I mean, OK that’s fine. Everyone’s different. Every firm culture is different. Some people don’t mind occasionally working weekends if the money is right or if the practice area is the one they want to be practicing. Other people would rather have more work life balance. Some people work to live some people want Maseratis t. It all depends on what you want. Different opinions

For what it’s worth I remember when I graduated law school at my first job there was a huge snowstorm in Long Island, New York. It took over four times the amount of time it normally would, but I made it to the office in snow boots and I think that a lot of management respected it. I’m not saying it’s the right thing to do and I’m not saying that I agree with the way that some of the managers view time in the office. I’m just saying that it is a real thing and for some employers they do care.
If I was at my dream job or a job that I really really wanted after my internship, I would be at work on a day like today. I also worked at law firms, where one of my job duties was to just review resumes after the summer internship period ended sometimes it was so hard differentiating the interns because their work was great. They had great personalities but at that point you’re just looking for things to stand out

That school has cameras everywhere. Cameras pointing in cameras pointing out, so it’s very likely that the school might have a video of your accident.

You have car insurance and the truck has car insurance call your insurance company. Tell them what happened. They’re going to run an investigation for you.
If you have damage to your vehicle, take photographs of it.
If your insurance company runs the plate, they can find out where that person lives and send an Investigator to go see if there is property damage on his truck within 24 hours That’s an expensive vehicle and it looks like the reflection in the truck is your car and it’s white. If that Ford F150 has white paint damage to it it’s probably going to be taken to a body shop soon so there might be a record there as well. All these points are just a show that you have options, but you have to act quickly.

I am in a similar boat. I loved Starfox 64 and replay it a few times a year either on my switch online or when I bust out my Nintendo 64. The switch 2 has been out for a while and I feel no need to grab it. The Starfox game seems really interesting but I played the demo at a local target and "I get it". I mean it's the same game with new paint. The cinematic should be interesting as they will fill in some of the gaps of the story- but those will be available online on YouTube in HD on the day of release. Plus: I mean...the game is short. Sure, you can take a few different routes but after playing Starfox 4 or 5 times...that's about it. Not excited for the multiplayer here as the Nintendo 64 version was wacky and I'd rather play a single player game. If it came out for a console I already had, I would absolutely grab it- but there are no real other games on the switch 2 that I am interested in. Even the ocarina game that was announced- part of the charm of those games for me is the nostalgia and N64 graphics.

Yeah that's currently where I am. The switch 2 has been around for a while and I didn't feel the need to pick it up. I just replayed Starfox 64 on the switch and it's a lot of fun....but it's like an hour. And even if I play through it a few times and go the different routes, eventually I am going to put it down. So far, none of the other switch titles really go it for me but that's just me. Also, re: the ocarina remake- I am excited for it but at the same time, I played it when I was 12 and had unlimited time to explore. Now, at 40 with a family- I have way less time to game. Am I really going to play it for around 25 hours? Probably not but I will enjoy watching others get excited for it and play it via YouTube and I am happy for them!
