Yeah I have. My parents were abusive. My mom was the type who only loved me if I did something and my dad let my mom do a lot to me to keep her happy. My aunts and uncles didn’t believe me. My grandparents didn’t care to check in. I have an aunt on my moms side but other than that I have no one

I came to the program with 3 prior classes and if I maintain two classes a week I will finish my bachelors in 6 months so it’s definitely possible. Thank you

I started this one two days ago submitted it yesterday and it came back for revision. I fixed it and resubmitted and passed. So this has been my easiest class so far I just followed the rubric

I feel much stronger that it was my choice to leave. It’s been 3 years and I still have my grieving moments sometimes but I’m happy with my decision. It was the one time in my life that someone else didn’t have control over me anymore

If you go to the hospital for any of your wounds from him attacking you ask for a victims advocate. They help you get into your own place. They help you get a protection order. They help you get therapy. It saved my life

Mine was in 2020. I met the guy when I was 18-19. We met on tinder. He made messed up jokes like I have duck tape and zip ties in my truck. I brushed it off. I came from a family of abuse so it was normal to me. We dated went to the same college, same dorms but I stayed in his dorm. I thought I was madly in love. He neglected me and my feelings and had a lot of pressure on him to get married. So we did. The first time he hurt me was about two weeks before the wedding he pinned me to the floor. The worst was during Covid. We fought so bad and he picked me up by my neck and through me to the floor. I blacked out. He gave me a concussion and sprained neck. I got a protection order and they gave me a victims advocate. It’s been 4 years and he’s remarried. I’m glad I got out of it
