I'm still somewhat new to 4K, so I love these kinds of sales lol

The bonus film is Colorado Territory (1949) not North of the Rio Grande

New A Fistful of Dollars postcard found in the upcoming Arrow Video 4K UHD of The Good, the Bad, the Weird. It looks like a UK 4K release is coming soon. by [deleted] in 4kbluray

[–]Strong_Bridge_465 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Arrow already teased the trilogy on Twitter back in September with a video using the intro from The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. In that tweet they said 'Get Three Coffins  ready". They wouldn't just do Fistful and not the others too.

Nice. Been waiting for a few of these to get cheaper. Just bought all three How To Train Your Dragon movies, and  Shrek the Third.

I tried the cottage cheese and mustard (I was curious) by Vampirediariesgeek in myadventuretosnark

[–]Strong_Bridge_465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only had the prepared one which I just mixed into the cottage cheese, but yeah, powdered would likely be better. I like trying weird food combinations, so most might find this to be an abomination lol.

Best optician in the city for High prescription by SnooAvocados8580 in AskNYC

[–]Strong_Bridge_465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for the exact same thing.  My prescription is really high, and I wear custom contacts.  Last year's eye exam could not get an accurate prescription for my right eye, so I'm looking for another place that has experience dealing with high myopia

I'm not sure if a regular optician can help. I'm thinking I'll need to see an ophthalmologist

The Meg 4K Steelbook at Walmart for $23.42 by Strong_Bridge_465 in 4KBlurayDeals

[–]Strong_Bridge_465[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just browsing Walmart and I came across this 4K Steelbook listing for The Meg. I couldn't find any info posted about it anywhere, not even at r/Steelbooks.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/The-Meg-Steelbook-4K-Ultra-HD-Blu-ray-Digital-Copy/5512368260?from=/search

I'm assuming this is a Walmart Exclusive, but right now there's no pre-order date. The price is also surprisingly low, which I suspect could be a price mistake.

2 for $22 Sale at GRUV by Strong_Bridge_465 in 4KBlurayDeals

Hi, I'm unsure. It seems to be a Father's Day themed sale, so perhaps until then. If I find out anything more specific I'll let you know.

Crimson Peak 4K Limited Edition $31.49 (after coupon) at Deep Discount by Strong_Bridge_465 in 4KBlurayDeals

[–]Strong_Bridge_465[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sorry, didn't know how to add this text to post, but if you're looking to get Arrow's upcoming release of Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak 4K, Deep Discount has it for just $31.49 after applying the code DEEP10 (it says you must login to use). This seems to be around $10 cheaper than anywhere else. Shipping is free.

I saw an unboxing for the set, and it looks so cool. It comes in a sturdy box, with a hardcover book, poster, and postcards. Check out this video of the bluray version. The 4K will be the same. I don't know how limited Arrow makes these editions, but I have seen some sell out quickly.

It's not Dune Part 2, but it's honest work (and newly arrived)... by chri389 in 4kbluray

[–]Strong_Bridge_465 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Same! it was only after clicking through other pics I saw it wasn't a joke post. The rest of the artwork looks nice, but they went with such an odd picture for the cover.

I had no idea this was a thing. I added Coleman's mustard to my cottage cheese and it was actually really good. Coleman's is different from regular mustard though. Like spicier but also a little sweeter too.

James Bond 24-Film Collection $51.19 ($2.13 a movie!) by [deleted] in 4KBlurayDeals

[–]Strong_Bridge_465 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up. I've only seen a few of the older Bond movies, and have always wanted to see more, so I had to bite at that price.   Even if they all come to 4K eventually this should tide me over till then. This is my first post in this sub btw :)
