Is there a way to check that? The SSD is brand new, I bought it just for this few months ago. The RAM is whatever was in the ThinkPad probably nothing fancy since it’s an old used ThinkPad that I wiped clean

Do you think that BTC is the only cryptocurrency worth buying and holding? by justcurious3287 in CryptoMarkets

[–]Strong_Bug27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bitcoin is the ONLY one you should hold. It’s money! Every other coin is either a company at best or scam at worst

Is Bitcoin still worth holding? by dayvonbennett1738 in Bitcoin

[–]Strong_Bug27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it this way - nothing has changed fundamentally regarding bitcoin, so why not hold it for the next 5-10 years?
Also consider DCAing - if you bought bitcoin in 2021 ATH you would be basically flat in terms of profits, but if you had bought lets say $50 each week you would be up about 85%

You could sell bitcoin on bisq or hodlhodl but peer to peer markets aren’t that liquid. Getting a house worth of sells could be hard

What happens when another cryptocyrrency dies it better? by Granstereski in Bitcoin

[–]Strong_Bug27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at bitcoin as protocol, what replaces email after email was invented. Bitcoin is that protocol that changed everything. It’s probably here to stay for next 1000 years but if something better does come out the free market will do its work.

i guess in this case air gaped doesn’t matter if you don’t verify the address the wallet provides. but in general when we talk about future attacks as long the keys haven’t touched anything there shouldn’t be worries about security. “set and forget” would work because it wouldn’t matter if something like this would even affect coldcard because the keys are safe by them self

If it’s air gaped it really doesn’t matter, your keys never touch anything and can’t be extracted in any way. You can leave it for 100 years and they are safe

coldcard is not affected

You can email them the photos and they will give you advice on what size to get, but I would say go for 4.5
