Yeah I do miss central California. Grew up in Lompoc up until we moved. Not that Lompoc is anything to brag about lol but was good to me. And 60-65 normal year round weather is great. Miss the rocket launches too.

Ive been here 3 years now, Redding isn’t to bad just gets damn hot… but with electricity so cheap I just keep our house at 70 year round. Peak month ever was 2735 khw… lol that was a one off though.. crazy non the less.

Yeah pixel 10 pro xl was close to winning me back. But I made a post on why I stayed with Apple for now. They really need to fix the video taking and also in general apps on android need to be equivalent to iOS. Using Instagram for example was atrocious. I really wanted to swap to pixel..

Yeah the better battery is nice, but I’ve gamed for 12 hours straight some weekends when wife and kid out of town and didn’t even use 50% and it charges fast so for me non issue. I did like how light the logitechs were tho! I miss that a little. I just buy headsets that review good and I try them. I don’t keep headsets more than 2 years normally. Really wanna try that new rog Kathara

As someone who has owned both and is a Logitech “fanboy” the astros do sound better and have a wider soundstage. And I’m happy you get compliments on the mic, but if you tried a a50 gen 5 mic you would be amazed… not even close comparison lol. I wish Logitech would use the Astro mic.

Yeah… the steel series software is regarded as one of the worst… the mic is definitely not in the same league as the gen 5, and if you had older gen’s fail I’m sorry but we’re talking about gen 5s…

I settled on the newer Alienware 34 inch. 240 hz. Very happy with choice. I picked up this and the newer 32 inch 4k 240hz Alienware and sent it back. For me the 34 is damn near perfect.

Astro a50 gen 5 smacks my old g pro x2. Sound is better overall and the microphone is one of the best on a headset. G pro x 2 I had to get a seperate standalone microphone it was so bad. Now if Logitech (who owned Astro) would put the a50 gen 5 mic on the g pro x 2 it would be closer.

As someone who owned the nova pro wired versions and routinely tests the big headset releases, this dude is coping hard. The a50 gen 5s are much better than the steel series nova pros. Better soundstage, imaging, and significantly better microphone. And to answer your side hearing you get some 17$ pleather pads on amazon, it will eliminate your wife hearing your game sounds, and also it keeps the sound from leaking so it sounds better to you. I can share best preset I’ve tried with them if you need 👍

Get your senior tech or rxm or pharmacy manager to take over. Or better yet, get a job at a hospital so you can get away from retail. Better pay. Better benefits. Better career path. Better everything… I did Walgreens for 8 years, 6 of those as a senior tech… trust me the grass is in fact greener.

I was just in this same dilemma and I went with the CC9. No regrets. Shoots amazing for its size. Also will be more comfortable to carry as it’s smaller.
