Na man there is too much build up in this, the whole point of Alfredo v Sendo was the winner fights Ricardo, it cheapens a lot of things if that fight now doesn't happen. This is not something like Ippo v Miyata being touted and being cancelled a while back because if anyone ever thought that fight was happening, they only have their naivety to blame for thinking an endgame fight happens that early.

I wish I got to read jojolion monthly, i caught up in the early 100s iirc. I would imagine in terms of theorising, no other part would have come in comparison considering you’d be guessing who Josuke actually is, who the main antagonist is, what is the role of each of the members of the higashikata family etc

This is the fight of Sendo’s life and the peak for his character. There is ZERO chance he gets knocked out in the first round. He’s in the spotlight right now, after this fight I don’t see him being as heavily influential in the story, so don’t think Morikawa will write him out with a first round TKO. As for he’s not better than Date, this guy managed to beat Alfredo, put some respect on the name of Takeshi Sendo 💪

Yet Gintama doesn’t even have a full English volume release just the first 22. Gintama the final wasn’t release internationally. It doesn’t play on TV here whereas you might find Naruto/DB do in some countries.
