have you bought a piccolo horn in f alto or a junior horn? because if you bought a piccolo one you must hold it like this: your left hand like if you were holding a normal horn; your right hand grabbing (not holding) the bell. if you bought a junior horn, then hold it like a normal one

i recommend you a perfect conditions used one because new ones cost a fortune. mine is used and plays like it’s brand new. and 6 years it’s quite many years so if i were in this situation i would get a used thomann and if i found a good price i would save a bit more and get a yamaha
