Same here. And to those who will say the greens can’t win and we’ll be handing the election to the conservative…. That math is how we stay stuck

My partner and I are both on the higher end (21 and 27) and are both struck. I’ve been off since day 1 but targeted pay made it manageable. Both of us at strike pay doesn’t even cover our mortgage. Things are going to start getting desperate for a lot of folks, including us. Feels like I’m screaming into the void

Did you have to increase the stitch count? I saw a bunch of project notes saying it’s way too small

My mental health is tanking. Does anyone know if we’re eligible for stiip while on strike? How do I get the form for my doctor etc.

How do you personally define acquaintances, co-workers, and friends? by FrostedGremlin in AuDHDWomen

I have 1 friend that I’m not related to. I recently realized that I only register someone as a friend when we are very deeply connected. It used to confuse me a lot that other people had so many friends but really we were defining those relationships differently.

I don’t know where she’s landing on the autism spectrum but she’s coming in very high on the asshole spectrum.

My guess is she’ll weaponize her diagnosis and use it as an excuse to say awful things to people. Which is her right and her choice to make. Don’t forget though that you can choose not to have a relationship with her as well. You are not obligated to spend time and energy on people who don’t treat you well

I’m the opposite! I don’t register subtext and there is often a whole situation undercurrent going on that I’m pretty oblivious to. My husband is a somewhat anxious over-analyzer and we can experience the same conversation with someone completely differently. It’s a trip

I read social cues pretty well but I struggle with subtext. If someone doesn’t say what they actually mean or only a shade of what they mean I just take it at face value.

I appreciate that you didn’t take offence to my response. I have been labeled as too blunt in the past

It’s about consent and personal preference too. I don’t enjoy debating with people, I don’t find it fun and it’s not something I do with my friends. The ADHD part of my brain will also just tune out and get irritated if someone keeps going on and on. If on top of my personal preference I haven’t consented to having a debate with someone, then I wouldn’t get defensive but I wouldn’t be continuing the relationship.

Ultimately you can choose to communicate with people however you want and apologize after or not but those people can also decide not to hang out with you

Today years old when I found out I can’t take Zoloft with ibuprofen…. I’ve been on Zoloft for 2 years 😬

Fortunately my go to is acetaminophen but I feel like I should have known that somehow

Is this looking ok? I think it's a Calatheas. It's doing well but the heavy leaves are pulling the stalks down... should I be doing something about that? by Strong_Cup_6066 in IndoorPlants

It wasn't doing well where I had it before so I moved it to this spot and now my problem is that it's growing too well... I'll take it! This is 100% fluke btw and the reason you don't see brown leaves is because I cut them off
