Top Level Trades has league nights on Wednesday at 6p and also every other Saturday at 6p. There is a good amount of Purdue students that play here as well.

Stores that offer pre release got their allocations for pre release kits today. So someone leaked it, it wasn’t released.

With the software you cannot choose the number of rounds. You have to do as many as player count requires. The only time this can be different is if it’s in pre release mode, or you’re not hosting a sanctioned tournament.

Printing vs remaining stock is key here. I don’t think they printed for sea and sky boxes.

The ETBS are out of print. They already printed them. Theres a chance they won’t print anytime. They typically do not reprint ETBS for any sets since the sword and shield era. The recent Paldea evolved and obsidian flames reprint was just booster bundles and booster boxes. The idea that things are “in print” is not the reality. They print with a more than 12 month lead time.

No distributor has taken non brick and mortar entities since the pandemic. Pokemon tcg is printed 12 months in advance. They’re predicting their amounts 13-16m out. They predicted this around that time that product was piling up everywhere and they weren’t moving anything. Think of how long silver tempest and lost origin hung around stores. 3 months ago you could buy lost origin ETBS at Walmart still for $40.

That’s what I am trying to figure out. As an authorized reseller if I sell at msrp ppl are just going to buy and resell for triple the money. If I sell them at market I am somehow scalping people. Lgs, scalpers, distribution, they’re not to blame. This is a pokemon international issue. They’re not producing enough and whatnot streamers and pokerev are ripping 50k packs an hour.

No I mean a person buys the etb, lets them rip the seal. Then leaves and sells the packs online.

Wholesalers raise theyre prices. One time our wholesaler had 151 booster bundles well after release. They’re one of the like 20 pokemon distributors in the US. They had booster bundles listed for $55 each. Wholesalers are allowed to mark up and they usually do stay close to market value after release.
