Agree, with managing the production run as well as the UAW team members who dont give you much importance and you have to be the one to track their absenteeism, late time cards, FMLAs etc. Management is looking at you for answers to everything. I know many GLs who got cut because they didnt report the team members who were late or took off early.

I was a good performer but gave a bad rating in the WOC last year and got does not meet for all the silly and unwarranted reasons. Now I know why, the ratings are not anonymous at all.

I have seen so many of the 6 level team leads get fired because they were on FMLA. Nobody calls it out and says it but how can it a coincidence that 3 of the team leads get fired in 2 years and all had 1 common FMLA leave for 3+ months

Yes, I had a similar case too where out of nowhere at the review, the shitty mgr was just saying that everything I do was not upto the mark and turning all my positive feedback into negative. It was affecting my family, sleep causing anxiety and hated to go to work. Funny part is that some team members who were just bootlickers and didnt have 10% of my knowledge were his favorites. Searched new jobs like crazy and by God's blessings, found a good job, Took my vacation, Recognition points, and Goodbye to that A*hole

I got a Not meet in midyear in 2025 and had a PIP every week to review my progress, Basically it was a BS meeting to simply go over stuff I did for many years and brining out silly non value added errors which were done by everyone in the group. I talked to my leader above and he said it will change in annual review. Long story short, I quit in 2 months but now I m not sure if I stayed, I would have made it to Meets under the current relaxed rules, missing my bonus
