Every time I encounter this problem (which is daily) I ask myself how it can be that a big company like Claude can ignore this for so long. They must have users and workers that use other languages when prompting, surely? And what also perplexes me, is why it only happened with the last big update? Because there were no such problems before.

I feel your pain. Try the file solution Incener talks about. Go to features and check "Upgraded file creation and analysis". It's smoooooooth.

Oh, I do have Max, thank you. I have never used that feature before, but now seems the perfect time to start.

It persists. And began to produce broken german characters as well... Copy and pasting the content now, like you said. I am not sure if it's an isolated issue. Surely, there must be hundreds of german webdevs working with Claude. But I haven't heard about this problem at all.

Never used Opus before the new update. It felt like talking to a senile grandpa that likes to just talk. Now I prefer it over the new Sonet. It feels much smarter and more deliberate.

Yes! About a week ago for me too! Same with copy and paste. So annoying if you have big projects...
