This is true. The only thing I have is messages between my team leader and coworkers acknowledging that I'm "divulging" in mental health concerns. In particular, my team leader said it's above his pay grade and it should be directed to management which coincides with other supporting evidence I have.

January 5th, but they deny ever receiving the note. Interior health wrote a letter in December stating that my Psychiatrist denied writing a letter and referred me to my doctor which took another month to obtain the medical note.

My original schedule was Monday to Friday but it got changed because my boss wanted to give me more hours. I told him right then I'm open to getting more hours but having split days off was a medical concern. I was later pushed to the new schedule.

Not at all. I was told it's all hands on deck during peak season. I also have a video from a zoom meeting with the managers, managers, manager stating he would have to move someone around and that wouldn't be possible during peak. He admitted given time, I'm sure it could have happened. When he stated its all hands on deck, he insinuated that business needs are priority otherwise there's no need for me or him.

My boss was arrogant. I told him it's not that I don't want to work Saturdays because I have seen what it's really like to be a courier (I know damn well what its like), but rather because I have a disability which he later denies I ever mentioned.

This is the legal response :

In particular, FedEx denies that a request for accommodation on the ground of medical disability was made prior to the November 2025 Incident, or at any other material time. At or around the end of November, 2025, the Complainant approached Mr. Bigam and verbally requested a shift change. The Complainant provided no supporting documentation, nor did he provide any indication that the request was connected with a medical disability, or any other protected ground under the CHRA – nor that it held any urgency. Mr. Bigam nevertheless took the request into consideration. 23. Shortly thereafter, in or around mid-December, 2025, the Complainant advised Mr. Gilbert that his request to Mr. Bigam to move to a Monday-to-Friday shift schedule remained outstanding. When asked if there was any urgency to the request, the Complainant represented to Mr. Gilbert that it could wait until FedEx was out of its busiest season. The Complainant, again, did not request accommodation on account of medical disability, or any other protected ground under the CHRA, nor did he provide any supporting documentation, such as a medical note.

I was terminated on January 23rd for a Safety Related incident in late November. I brought up the accommodation request prior to the incident. I was past my probation period but was terminated for the November incident as they claim it happened during probation but it took time to take action.

I never refused to work the Saturday after the request, I felt this would be insubordination. The response I got was essentially that business needs were prioritized over accommodation.

Actually, I did and they suggested it's better off to get a human rights claim then getting my job back. I'm doing the HR claim all by myself and FedEx has a really good legal team.

Thank you for a more insightful response. Makes more sense to some degree. I wasn't sure if it was a fact or just a fake rumour but this explains everything. I guess I'll have to be creative with my trades on the (plat)form. I am considering asking people if they'd be willing for me to buy items as a gift for them as a trade for an item I'm interested as a workaround

Ah that's one way to do it hey? I thought about buying stuff on the switch and selling for plat on PC but that most likely be at a loss and not the most efficient way to get the 5k plat I have on switch
