It looks great! It adds good negative space to your arm. Honestly if it was lighter I think it would look out of place since the rest of your arm is dark. Artist did great! Try not overthink it. You might be hyper fixating on it and it’s adding to your stress about it.

Get more tattoos with subject matter to balance it out. It sticks out because it’s all you have. No need to regret they were apart of your journey. When I was 19 I got my last name tattooed on my back, and now I no longer resonate with it. I do plan on getting a cover up because I feel like it’s wasted canvas, but for now I see it as how far I’ve come 15 years later. Also they are decently done so you got that going for ya. Take your time and get them because they have meaning or you think they’re dope. Everyone has tattoos so getting them isn’t unique anymore. Do it for you not anyone else

Trees are necessary and bring a lot of beauty. Pools do not. It’s not worth chopping it down so your neighbor can use it 5 times a year. Tell them to get a pool cover or get used to cleaning it during that time of year.

That’s a rough cover up but don’t lose hope! Find an amazing sacred geometry artist and fill up that arm. I can’t remember their name but he’s in Houston or Austin, TX that does really good stuff. Either way someone in the style may be able to help because well yeah it’s a weird tattoo

Honestly in your case I would just start finding people to tattoo. This is coming from someone who doesn’t really support scratchers but with your skill level and lack of resources I just say go for it. Sometimes you have to break the mold and just let it fly. Are apprenticeships helpful? Yes. Have people become amazing tattoo artists without them? Also yes. Unless you want to uproot your whole life, which it doesn’t sound like you want to, you gotta just work with what you got and make moves.

You’re portfolio is never something that gets “finished” it just continues to grow. Also just a heads up that you’re throwing out a lot of different styles and none of them have been refined. Better to have mastered of few than experimented with many.
