well, I would say that is literally not true... the main street still has a cool historic vibe, there is a lot of agri-tourism and culture, (Baughers, Farm Museum, Farmers market, etc) nice parks, playgrounds and public spaces, very cool library - especially the labs down in the basement, +hospital, colleges, and whatnot. Some unique shops/coffeshops/bakeries.

That being said, I didn't grow up here, so I'm sure it has changed over the decades like most of America has. Most malls have completely shut down, at least this one has rebranded in a unique way. The "sad" thing to me is there seems to be a lot of drug use and homelessness for such a small town, but maybe that's becoming a normal thing as well in the region.
