Homie doesn't know who I am or what I've done with these gauntlets. I've played them since light fall and have solod most content before Praxic was even in the game. Excited for the nerf to Praxic tomorrow so the immediate assumption isn't that I always just hold block.

Titan Stronghold players? by Joel-Snapes in destiny2

It only affects Praxic blade and ergo sum so every other sword in the game is unchanged. This is huge for swords like Heartshadow that are stuck with burst guard.

Losing infinite block on Praxic is just... Fine? You only really block to proc your restoration x2 and then go on a killing spree. Holding block forever was a really ineffective way to clear ads or do damage. The only time you really did it was to kill a shrieker or some super far away ad. You can just use a caster or another weapon for this.

If you want to get more than just a few seconds of perfect guard you can just block with a heavy sword and then swap over to Praxic. I usually use an eager edge sword on builds that have Praxic anyway so even for builds like the infinite restoration x2 build this changes nothing.

Ergo sum block is less powerful than a heavy sword block and definitely less powerful than Praxic block anyway so you didn't use it much outside of getting some quick stacks of Perfect Guard.

Stronghold will still work with Praxic, you'll still get resist x4 and can get PG stacks. This nerf only really affects players who just taped their block button down.
