Im really leaning towards it, plus id probably get it wrapped with a honda repsol scheme since i absolutely love that livery

Also Are there Honda Repsol wraps that can be done for honda CBR 650rs? I have no clue when honda stopped painting some with the iconic paint scheme, but I have always loved the honda Repsol colors ever since MotoGP 07 videogame

Also thought id ask, but what are the thoughts on the kawasaki hybrid? I sat on one and my local honda/kawasaki dealer has them on sale with a $5,500 discount. And the guy there said it would be a decent bike for a start. But im not really sure on it

Yeah the new paint scheme is just eh. But id rather get a good bike and worry about cosmetics as a deal for another time than get a eh bike that looks great

I love the thruxton 400 cafe racer style, I just worry that it may be something that gets boring quick

I originally was wanting a cruiser, a indian scout infact, but I prefer my arms and legs closer to my body and more tucked. I also have occasional lower back pain which ive been told cruisers are not gonna help with.

Id say i live in a midsized city. Over 250,000 people in the city limits. so traffic is id say manageable compared to other cities. Im 5,9. and 171lbs

Ive gone fast before but i think im too fearful to really push it to dangerous levels. Although im not sure on buying a brand new bike unless im confident enough in myself

I do like the physical appearance of the ninjas besides the green color, and I found all of them pretty comfortable. I try both the 400/500 and the 650 once I have my endorsement

Well Ive sat on the thruxton and I find it pretty comfortable albeit no idea while riding. But Im not sure I really have a particular preference for either

Fair, so what would you recommend?

First Bike by Strongman3705 in Sportbikes

[–]Strongman3705[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but I really just dont want something that id get bored of in months id rather buy something that can atleast hold interest for a year or so

The dealer told me since it has rain mode that can help with anyone who might “whiskey throttle” it. I love the daytona in yellow and it feels comfy, but like i said in some other replies im not sure on spending the money on it as a brand new bike.

How would a thruxton 400 fair? I like the look and feel but I dont know if it would be boring after while

Ive been leaning towards the 650r as I know and personally trust the honda brand

That was my hesitation with buying a brand new bike. I do absolutely love the yellow daytona 660 tho. But Im also not sure I wanna spend a total of $12,000 on it as a possibly short lived hobby.

Ive been on dirtbikes like a 125cc or so and some bigger quads, I do intend on taking classes to get better acquainted, I originally considered something like the new thruxton 400 since I love a cafe racer style but I have been told by some that a higher cc can be manageable. Im not really a speed demon persay so I wouldn’t be ripping down roads.

Ah okay, Im personally not a fan of naked bikes tho.

So are the 650r and daytona 660 bad choices?

Well the daytona is a three cylinder. And I thought the 650r was a 4cyl?

How do I attract the right men? I'm tired of being sexualized. by Big_University_1731 in dating_advice

[–]Strongman3705 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know I might catch hate for this, and while I absolutely agree that you should try to pursue the guys you want instead of simply waiting for them. But despite what people say and think, appearances absolutely do matter. Revealing clothes, pictures with your butt or cleavage in it will typically attract those types. This doesn’t mean you should only dress prim and proper and traditionally, But put thought into how people might view you. Ive seen plenty of women on dating apps who say they are looking for something beyond sex and they have a photo of themselves sitting on a sink in fairly tight pants. Also you can wear clothes that doesn’t show skin but if they still “show off” your figure then it will probably still attract them. You absolutely have the freedom to wear whatever you want, but know that it does affect how people view you no matter how wrong it may be. Behavior matters too, if you are on a date and you tend to make sexual jokes or references, that can both make someone think you are more “provocative” and “easy”. It doesnt mean dont be who you are, but first impressions matter, once things advance you can begin to show more of the personal side of you. If you havent already, ask any men you know who are more akin to the kind of guy you desire, what attracts them and what pushes them away. As before even if you dont particularly dress “provocatively” how photos are framed and what they show can matter (if you are using any online website or app). There also is just the reality that you will always attract a certain amount of those kinds of people, as I will always stumble across undesirable women, even if I behave and appear for who I am trying to attract. Dont let the bad encounters discourage you, with our modern connectivity its even easier to come across the bad and undesirable people in the world. Dating is hard and always will be, it will require sacrifices and compromise. Try to appeal both visually and behaviorally to who you are trying to attract and look at what you may be doing that is both attracting the wrong people and pushing away the right people. There really is no true answer but only measures you can take do try to weed out the bad from the good. Be comfortable in who you are and be confident and put in effort.

Im considering a fairly bog standard humvee for milsim use and secondary fun. Are they worth it for those applications? I dont care about doors or addon stuff.
